Great British Cathedrals with Tony Robinson – Competition to Win a Trip for 2 to York

Competition closes at midday on 04.06.2018 and 3 working days later for postal entries.
2) The prize comprises:

1. Standard class return rail travel for two from UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to York, unless the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights and transfers to the hotel;
2. Return private transfers for two between York train station and the hotel;
3. Two (2) nights’ luxury hotel accommodation for two at Grays Court, based on sharing a double room with a view of York Minster (subject to availability) on a bed and breakfast basis;
4. Champagne afternoon tea for two on one day at Grays Court;
5. Five-course set menu dinner for two at The Bow Room Restaurant with a bottle of house wine to share;
6. Guided tour of York Minster for two (1 hour approx.), available at set times throughout the day from Monday to Saturday; and
7. £500 spending money

3) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
4) The prize must be taken within 12 months of receiving the congratulations e-mail from Element and cannot be taken between 19th December 2018 and 4th January 2019, over Easter weekend in 2019 (19th April 2019 to 22nd April 2019) or UK Bank Holidays (27th August 2018; 6th & 27th May 2019).
5) Should the prize winner prefer to drive themselves a mileage allowance up to the value of £200 will be offered and the rail allowance and taxi transfers will be forfeited. The allowance will be calculated at 45p per mile from the prize winner’s home address to Grays Court.
6) Either the prize winner or their companion must be over the age of 18. Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the accommodation.
7) Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
8) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
9)The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
10)There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
11) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
12) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
13) Video footage and images provided by Grays Court.
