Outside tap connector
Hi
My outside tap connector bust on me today. I thought I had a spare one in my hazelock pack but I could not fit it on. I have the pic of the tap below and also the old connector. Something I could pick up from b&q / screwfix etc and I can pick up tomorrow as need to clean some garden furniture. Could someone le me know which one is best?

Why not get a brass screw on connector, and a jubilee clip to clamp the hoze on? MUCH more secure than plastic versions.
This set from Screwfix contains the part, as well as brass fittings, which I've found to be leak free (unlike plastic).

I use these for our hoses, not sure if it suits you. https://www.google.com/search?q=geeka+connectors&oq=geeka+connectors&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.6512j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Thanks guys
I bought the brass One today but wouldn!!!8217;t screw onto the tap for some reason. Are outside taps standard sizes ?0 -
Usually 3/4 or 1/2 BSP. Is it too big ? Your tap looks like a 1/2, most are 3/4. The plastic ones come with a 3/4 to 1/2 adaptor.0

Yeah the connector is too big.0

This is meant for quick release hose fittings, but should get you up and running.
