The other week whilst attempting to get a code off a back of a newspaper the worker in whsmith informed me this was theft and kindly asked me to leave his store. He said if I do not leave immediately I will contact security and you may get arrested. He said I have to buy the paper to obtain a code. I said you send half of them back anyhow. He said that don't matter it's theft! That is the first and only time I've ever been challenged in about 8 months of collecting codes. The asda by me where I regularly collect codes. The papers are situated at the front of the stall right by the security desk. In there considering what he said I've never been stopped. Strange but thinking about it suppose it is theft if you steal someone else's code.
