From ailey: Not sure how this happened but I backspaced too quickly when typing and it took me into your quote, redagila, which should never happen as I can alter what you've said. I've removed the last couple of letters from the word 'codes' to show this. I'll contact MSE admin to see if they can alter this as we certainly wouldn't want anyone being able to alter what we've said. 

I was thinking the same about collecting the codes now as it will take a much longer time. Goodness knows why the DM decided on this change. It used to be we got 50 points each day Mon-Fri, 100 on Saturdays and 150 on Sundays, if my memory serves me correctly. Was bad enough when they reduced it to 5 points each day and takes around 3 months to get 1000 points saved for a £5 voucher. I entered Tuesday and Wednesday yesterday and got 4 points then 2 points so, at that rate, it'll take a much longer time so might not be worth the effort! I think they've shot themselves in the foot with this change and might lose a lot of readers, especially those who chose the DM to save the codes.

I got a reply from MSE Forum Team. I wasn't aware we could alter other people's comments before but I should have been to be honest as I have seen people just put a line from a comment instead of the whole comment. It just didn't click with me how they actually did it. I probably thought they just copied it but couldn't alter the comment as such. This might be interesting for some of you:
