I have an account with Halifax and a separate Santander account that I use for bills. When I use my card to make a transaction with Halifax (contactless or PIN) I can log into the app and see the transaction instantly about 90% of the time. The NatWest app lists pending payments for my credit card almost immediately. This does not include offline transactions like fuel pump terminals which only show a £1 transaction until the full amount is posted.
