Hanging interior doors quote

Options
Hi all,

so we were told it'd be 600 to get 6 interior doors sorted, I changed things a bit by saying we wanted two of them to be part glass panel for light. I figure this is an extra 50 per door?

However, we have been charged 800 in total? As far as we can figure, they're b&q doors which are £23 non-glass and £78 for glass

Prices for fitting I've been looking at in Leeds range from 45-65 per door labour only. If they supplied the doors then ask for the receipt as you own them now.

Sorry i dont understand that. I would give you an invoice for the supply and fitting of your doors. I would also supply a receipt for the money received when paid but my invoice for the purchase of the doors has got nothing to do with the client , what i paid for them and any trade discount is completely immaterial and of no concern to you . Apart from anything else ,i need that receipt for my accounts. I am more than entitled to put a mark up on the product . Next time you go in Tesco`s and buy a box of cornflakes , ask to see the store manager as you would like to see their invoice from kellogs , in order to calculate their mark up. And ascertain whether or not it is reasonable in your opinion. Dream on.

So thats about £250 for the doors assuming they are basic quality. Are the doors prepainted which costs more?
Unless they have used your old hinges and handles you need to add this in. Have any such as the bathroom got locks on? You could be paying another £120 to £200 for these fittings so fitting could be about £350. ie less than £60 per door.
