Hello all,
I'm sorry if this subject has been attacked before, but I've just looked at my last two phone bills and found some 'Third Party Charges' by a company called taptofun. They've billed me nearly £24.00 in the last 8 weeks and I have absolutely no recollection of ever subscribing to their service. I remember receiving their text messages and I think the first one I received I tapped on the link but that seems to have automatically subscribed me to their service.
I've contacted my mobile operator and they have blocked any further premium rate service subscriptions, though EE have left it to me to pursue a refund with taptofun.
I guess I'm really looking for other people's experiences with this kind of thing, and what luck you might have had in getting a refund. I'm prepared to go the whole way with this because it's troubling that what is effectively unsolicited clickbait could lead to hundreds of pounds worth of charges being applied to someone's mobile account without them suspecting it.

Neither a borrower or lender be; for loan oft loses both itself and friend.
