What reasons for house being sold way below market value?

We went to view a house that was being sold well below the previous selling price.
On the side wall you could just work out some partially scrubbed-off graffiti. We squinted and could see it was a slang word for a !!!!!phile. One of the neighbours saw us, and then explained that the previous occupier was a tenant who had been mistaken for someone else and been targeted by yobs. They were perfectly innocent but had left the property as the trouble was continuing.
We didn't buy the house, and it is still up for sale.
Perhaps someone might be advised to make a better job of cleaning the graffiti!
In the OP's case, it could be a similar thing and plenty of time has elapsed.0 -
Tubifex worms once they get into the water pipes it's a nightmare to eradicate the microscopic eggs. Nothing worse than a wriggler in your cup of joe in the morning.0
