Hubless Smart Switch

Options
I am looking to buy couple of Hubless smart wall switches (HomeKit supporting) - primarily to have automated holiday lighting schedule (I have timer switches but they aren't good enough as a disguise IMO).

I want to change few switches so I can create some real life light switching schedule. But want to avoid another hub device, also not interested in Hue etc as they won't with existing light types.

I only see one Koogeek LED Light Switch Smart on Amazon as an option, not heard of this company before. Anyone has any other recommendations?

The Koogeek LED Light Switch seem to be around £35 each.

If you want something like that then i'm using the Sonoff ones which are less than £12 on eBay including delivery.

But be aware they both require neutral wires to operate and if you read a recent thread of mine it's unlikely you will have them (unless you have already checked):

Thank you. I believe I have neutral wires at the switch, it is a Edwardian house but was rewired about 10 years ago. I'll check before I order anyway

    Few questions -
    1. It does not say if it supports HomeKit - which means while I can use iPhone app - can't use Siri, not a deal breaker but would be good to use Siri to switch on the lights
    2. Does it have CE mark? appear safe to use - I don't quite trust eBay, there is all sorts of dangerous stuff for sale
    3. I'll need at least one dimmer switch - don't see they have it? I may just have replace existing one I guess - not a big fan of dimmers anyway

    1. I have never used Homekit but they do support IFTTT so if Homekit also supports IFTTT then you may have a way to control it. I personally use Amazon Alexa.

    2. It does have a CE mark and visually appears to be safe; but it is made and certified by a Chinese Company so you can never be 100% sure.

    3. I haven't seen any dimmer switch versions.

If you get just one then you can try it out and see if it works as you want.

Just a thought that you may or may not have already discounted....TP-Link bulbs, they don't need a hub and you can set schedules for them if away. They also have the ability to be controlled directly from your smartphone. They can also be dimmed via the app.
Apologies if I've no understood what you are trying to achieve.
