Hi i sold a mobile on ebay today and the buyer paid instantly ,problem is that the pay pal address does not correspond to the ebay address
What should i do

    Does the name match?
    Is this a new ebayer?

    also if you are selling a mobile phone, take a note of the imei/serial number that can be found on a label under the battery (or on the box it came in) or type in *#06#.

    it should start with 35 (an example of an imei is 351234567890123)

    If the address is not confirmed then ideally you want the buyer to get it confirmed before you ship as otherwise you have very little protection.

    There's nothing overtly dodgy about the buyer... he hasn't been on a buying spree - just been semi-active after being registered a little over a year.

    You definitely ought to get the address thing checked out. He's registered in Leicestershire. Remember you don't have seller protection if the address is unconfirmed - for the value of the item, that's your call whether you want to risk it.

    The OP's phone has sold at around the £50 mark btw.
