i was always told if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing. i wanted to have my post ridiculed and mocked i would have put it on facebook or twitter,
Well I don't think it's very nice accusing the council of wrong doing and attempting to get money out of them through legal action for a mistake that was your fault alone. But that didn't stop you from posting on here about it or contacting the council.0 -

Some people come here to feel superior so I suggest you don!!!8217;t worry about it and ignore unhelpful replies.
You could try your home insurance or you could try a no-win no-fee firm.
The latter will work more aggressively on your behalf as they depend on success to get paid.
If you are partly responsible then I!!!8217;m sure the legal representatives for the other side will point it out based on all the information available, so no need to listen to people who don!!!8217;t know the roads and what visual clues there were at the time.
Just make sure they are genuinely no fee and won!!!8217;t deduct from your payout.
The visible clue was a pothole in the road.
All you are doing is building the OP's hopes up.
OP: If you seriously think you have a case then forget NWNF as they will just take a chunk of your compo. Pay for proper legal representation and keep all the money for yourself.
Let us know how you get on.
