leave them out at your gate, they will soon disappear, same as an old hoover/fridge/lawnmower.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
De package..divide into portions..say 75g? And freeze. Always a modest treat to hand.0

Leave the ones you don't want in a bag in a local church before Sunday with a sign saying help yourself
Food bank? Or even hand them out to homeless people directly. Maybe also library or community centre children's groups, but it's probably a bit late now and after Easter they will likely be in the same boat!
Give them to neighbours, particularly ones with children
Make millionaire's shortbread or have a google for chocolate recipes that use milk rather than cooking chocolate
Look at the sell by dates, and consider keeping them as a money saver if the dates are far enough away - most will be fine until August/September, so consider what you will realistically eat between now and then.0 -
Brownies ,brownies and more brownies I have four of my teenage grandsons who 'help' me out with chocolate I am just awaiting the end of Lent so I can indulge in my favourite ginger nut biscuits again
:):).My eldest DGS lives in NYC and misses the Uk's milk chocolate as he says the U.S. chocolate has a funny taste, and having tried it myself I agree it tastes awful

I used to take mine to the local charity shops as a treat for the staff and volunteers to show I appreciated the work they did.The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

Don't get any! My husband got given one in work, which he gave to someone else. His father is a divil for getting us one, but we got in early and said, really please don't, if you really feel the need to do something and donation to charity would be preferred. I don't get them for my nieces, I take them out for the day instead.
I LOVE chocolate, but I'd much rather a small amount of luxury chocolate, preferably really dark, 80-90%. An easter egg of dairy milk chocolate, is just wasted calories to me. That and I'm not very good a resisting it so would just eat the whole silly thing!0 -
It would depend if it was chocolate that's to my taste e.g. Green and Black's or some other high quality dark chocolate.
If it was, I'd keep it
If not, I'd recycle it to someone who doesn't have the same high standards in chocolate. :whistle:0 -
Im still working my way through my Christmas chocolates
See the thing is, theres nothing in the rule book of life that says you have to pig out and eat them all in 48hrs If I were so fortunate to get 20 Easter eggs, Im pretty sure Id still be eating them at Christmas0 -

Mr LW likes HM choccie mousse as a dessert, so I'd probably use some to make that for him, for a treat. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
