With only two years no claims and the type of car it isn't that surprising that your insurance is over £1,000. I'd still ask, however, if the car has become uneconomic to run, given your comment about repair bills.
I'd still ditch Sky. It is a luxury and you are trying to reduce your outgoings. Reducing your outgoings will mean making some sacrifices.0
