Adding dormer to chalet bungalow and extension

Hello all,
I've just received a quote for adding a second dormer to our chalet bungalow (aprox 5.5m in length) and demolishing an old single storey extenion to be replaced with a slightly larger flat roof single storey extension of aprox. 12m2 in size.
There's no complications as far as we are aware, dormer will require a steel and there's a new run required for drains of about 10m in length to join up with existing drain system.
The quote to get all this finished to first fix has come in at a smidge under £70k, this seems really high to me or am I totally deluded?!
Property is near Farnborough for reference.
Thank you!

Is the quote based on full architects drawings or a guess ?

We've got the architects drawings for planning permission, detailed drawings are still work in progress at the moment. The quote was based on the architects drawings so far.0

It is crazy to obtain quotes without having working drawings, Buildings Regulations, all clauses answered and a detailed specification. This means your £70K could include all sorts of assumptions, exclusions or whatever.
Put another way, the building industry is busy, so builders will not be interested in pricing unless they know the consumer has done their homework first. Any failure here and you might be viewed a time waster. So do not get other quotes until you are in receipt of the necessary details.0
