I don't legitimately lie. I tend to follow one of Dr Jordan B. Peterson's rules for life - "tell the truth, or at least, don't lie". And I apply that to white lies as well, because its all the small lies that amount up to a big lie that causes issues down the line (as demonstrated a couple of times in this thread).
