In what way is it an unfair practice - you dont have to go with a particular supplier any more than you have to go to a particular supermaket or garage. If you dont like their service, conditions, prices or anything else just don't go with them.

If sufficient people vote with their feet then they'll do something different. It's the basic rule of supply & demand and competition, you have the right to boycott them if you dont like it. Having a whinge won't really do much

I explained well enough in my post that it is that the regulator made the rule, it should apply to all.

As for having a whinge, it is feedback and maybe it will encourage others to vote with their feet, that is what happens these days in case you didn't notice.
