HSBC PPI email address

Can anyone advise the email contact address for the Head of Complaints for HSBC (PPI Dept). I have been advised that 2 FDL's were issue over 6 weeks ago and I have still not received them. Any information would be gratefully received.

    "Final Demand Letters"?

Try HSBC's website for contact details.

No Final Decision Letters. I have asked them to resend several times and have been promised call back's on 8 occasions. I just need to get it looked at by someone senior.

Ring up and ask to speak to a manager or go into a branch and get them to send some sort of internal message (take proof of ID). The people at the top will have assistants or PAs who filter all the emails through the proper channels, they'll simply bounce it down the line

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Take names, times and so on just in case it's needed later on to show what you've done, paper record will be enough

Email responses from Head of Department and offer letters emailed. Is there anyone on this forum who can help me check if these have been calculated correctly? Bearing in mind I haven't done an SAR HSBC have come back with the two offers.

Just had an offer through from HSBC in respect of my credit card. Bearing in mind I wrote to them as I recall having PPI on the card, I have not requested a SAR on this card.

    REDRESS TOTALS
    Manually Entered premiums. GBP704.25

    Pre-statement period estimated premiums GBP233.07

    TOTAL PPI Premiums GBP937.32
Interest Charged to the Card (non taxable) GBP704.23
    All Credit Interest (taxable) GBP980.37
    Total Fee Refund GBP225.00
    Total Compensation Calculated GBP 2,846.92

They calculate based on the records they hold to an agreed refund method set by the regulator, unless you have records showing you have paid significantly more then their calculation is assumed to be correct
