The Alternative to a Joint Bank Account

Options
Hi All!
So me and my partner are going to be moving in together soon. And one of the big issues to tackle is how we're going to pay for bills.

We are against having a joint bank account simply because of the short time we have been together and we don't want our credit scores linked yet.

So we're looking at bank accounts. Not that either of want to switch, just a seperate bank account, perhaps in my name where we both put money in and direct debit out the bills.

Seeing as this is the best place on the web, can someone point me in a good direction of which bank to go for? The account will solely be used for direct debits, needs no overdraft and ideally the bank has an app/online presence.

Quick bonus question too: Am I able to open another account with the bank i'm with at the moment to fulfill this need?

Muchos Gracias.
