ESA back payment

Hello,
My mother in law won her ESA appeal yesterday and was placed in the support group.
However before that in October 19th they said no so we started the MR and then onto the tribunal.. During waiting for the tribunal they advised her to go on to JSA, even though she was not looking for work... so she was getting £73.10 a week.. from 19th October.
Now the judge said that she will get her money back dated. but we thought that she might not but after looking online today it is a different amount for support group ( i thought was all the same amount) I'm new to all of this jargon.. so if thats right even tho she has claimed JSA is she still entitled to the extra amount back dated witch works out as an extra £36.55 week (£109.65 take away her £73.10 she was getting JSA = £36.55) ?
or is she not entilted to the back pay as she was already getting some money in the form of JSA?
Hope I'm making some sense lol... So if thats the case will that get back dated the 23 weeks which it was been? just seems like a lot of money to be paid out?
my head is baffled lol

Her back pay will be the 23 weeks back to Oct 19th at the ESA SG rate.
Any JSa payments during this period will be deducted from the total back pay.
This should get her back to the same financial position, as if the correct decision had been made by the DWP in the first place.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
Money will be backdated to week 14 of her claim for ESA not the date she claimed JSA.
Yes, it does sound a lot of money. But if the DWP had got it right in the first place, there would not be such a large lump sum due.0 -
Thank you both for your help..
so her date she submitted her ESA claim was July so will be 14 weeks from that date which takes her to 19th October..
I think I'm getting there lol thank you both0
