Help with a Account in Default

Hi can someone tell me if & how to go about removing this Account in Default it's a npower electricity Account that was in the red for a long time they installed a key meter but this Account has been paid off in full from the middle of last year but it's still on my Experian Credit File as a Account in Default with a balance of £0.00 can this be removed as the Account is not in the red anymore

Im not sure because its a true reflection of how you ran the account but I would have thought it should be shown as settled/satisfied rather than in default if it os as you say.

No - it will drop off 6 years from default.

So that account will b removed in 2020 as the account went into default in Jul 2014 can i ask just 1 more quick ? if i have account in default since 2014 but now im paying the account off by 4 week installments will that account be removed from the default list or not ?
