Just installed Devolo AC1200 + wifi powerline and 1 adaptor.
After a bit of a faff eventually got it all working and cloned to my Sky fibre network. Wifi very good all around the house now and connected to all devices so very pleased.
The only thing I can't figure out is when I open the 'cockpit' software on my laptop (Windows 7) it comes up with..............
''No local dLAN device found. Please connect a dLAN device to your network card or check the cable connection''
I've tried phoning Devolo UK support but the line is constanly engaged!
Anyone any ideas?

With HomePlug software:
If you are connected with a cable direct to the homeplug device you can configure the device easily. It sounds like your error is because there is no device connected directly
If you are not connected directly to the device you should be able to see a list of Homeplug devices on your network, you have to enter the MAC address and Password printed on the device if you want to alter their settings. Then you should be able to configure it, but it doesn't always work. You may have to plug it in directly.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
Thanks for the replies. No I'm just using via wi-fi.
I'll hard wire it to the homeplug and try again.
I did e-mail Devolo support and they replied today saying that I need to switch the homeplugs off, disable my AV software and then plug them back in and try again.
Thanks again for your help.0
