I have similar issues with SSE. The standard and heating bills went up to several thousands quids during last hot summer months, which i disputed. I am now given an option if i want to get the meters inspected but i will have to fork out 80 quids for this. Does anyone have similar experience and can anyone provide any suggestions. thanks

Re you a business or a domestic user in a former business premises ?

This is mainly a domestic forum but the same principles apply to businesses - read your meter, keep records, check bills and get them corrected asap.

Can you read your meter meters and give us the readings ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
