UKCPS Defence

Hello,

I have received a letter from County Court Business Centre, and have responded to the claim but i need you to have a look over my defence.

on 8/8/2017 i was issued with a Parking Charge Notice. My car was parked in a temporary car park that had been arranged by the council during major works in the city where the bus station was being rebuilt. The boundaries of this car park were unclear, and i purchased a pay and display ticket which was clearly visible in the car window. By seeing this ticket and the circumstances around the car parks temporary status, i feel i was treated unfairly when a human error was made.

I had my the 4 year old daughter with me, it was pouring down with rain so visibility was impaired aswell as the private and public boundary not being clear. I have kept my pay and display ticket for you to see if you so wish.

    That is not a defence.

    You need to acknowledge the claim and state you will defend, following the guide to court advice in the NEWBIES thread written by bargepole.

    UKCPS do not understand human error, because they
    are not humans, they are simply dirty vermin who patrol
    private car parks

    If you think that the boundary is not clear to motorists,
    can you take pictures or a video.

    Was this issued by Gladstones Solicitors ??

    This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

    Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

    Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

    The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

    and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.

    Do you mean you have ACKNOWLEDGED the claim, not yet defended, nothing in the defence box?
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
