Cannot remember email password.

hi all
windows 10 HP Envy laptop. my email program is Windows Live Mail. i wish to access my emails on another travelling laptop but i stupidly cannot remember my WLM password as i had to change it some time ago due to a security breach.
i've seen paid for password recovery software but i only want this 1 password. can someone recommend (a free) method for retrieving this password please?

my email account is up and running fine on my existing laptop but obviously when i go into account properties the password is just a series of black dots

Try mailpassview within this list of free tool and use it on your laptop to recover the stored password.

Could you just follow the password reset option whilst logged in on your existing laptop?
