Netflix has stopped working on my android tablet as of yesterday. It goes to the Home screen but then will not open. It thinks I am signed in and connected but when I click on a film, it just flashes and redisplays the Home screen again.
I cannot access any of the options within Netflix to reset them. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and that appears to work but it still will not open anything beyond the Home screen. Then it just flashes back at me. There are no error messages, it simply will not open anything. My account is up to date and it works on my PC.

When you reinstalled and started up did it ask for your email/password again?
If not, clear cache and clear data (in Setting of Android) for the Netflix app. Try again.
If no joy, Repeat and then uninstall, reboot, reinstall.
Beyond that - no idea.0 -
Is it upto date ?0

1) Try a hard reset. This is usually done by holding down the power button and volume up/down button. It depends on the make of tablet so web search your model and they'll be a guide somewhere to do this.
2) Update your Android software. You can check for a software update in your settings but due to the nature of Android, Google are notorious for not pushing updates to all devices so you may be stuck with an older version.
3) Uninstall and re-install Netflix (which looks you already have done).
4) As a last resort, back-up all of your data and do a full factory wipe.
Good luck!0 -
