question re n power switch freebies???

Last year i was stopped in my c ity and told about n power deal that if i switched to them id get a £10 voucher for local football shop a free tour for 4 people of local football ground , so i signed up and have been waiting for my free gifts for ages now i got my first bill on 15th may 07 so you can see how long ago it was ! after emailing a few times i recieved a reply saying i signed up ro the comic relief deal which was £5 to comic relief! i love charity stuff but wouldnt have swapped for that i have emailed back over a week ago to argu the point but no reply how can i get the freebies offered at time of switch any advise pleaase !!!!

It may be possible that you have had a run in with a dodgy saleman. Some will do anything for a quick commission before they push on to the next job.

I would suggest firstly checking if they ever ran an offer like that and then going form there. Do you have a copy of your contract with the offer on? If it's not on there and they say they have never ran that offer, the saleman was dodgy.

They do supply power to football grounds and sponsor the cricket so it's possible, but I can't remember hearing about it. Maybe someone else on the forum has???

N Power are a shabby company in my opinion. They are not interested if you have any problems. I have had bills that have been extra high for someonelike me living in a small flat, but all they kept saying was you must have used that amount. Basically tough. They wouldn't even send somebody to check the meter. I have now got gas heating installed so am going to look at a company offering discount or offers for both. I would never use or recommend N Power and personally do not think no matter how many phone calls or letters, you will get anywhere.

thanks all i was thinking about changing them i was going to go with the british gas offer on quidco ??
