problems with dwp payments today???

has anybody else who is due to receive a benefit payment today not been paid i am due to receive my jsa today but its not been paid i have tried phoning the dwp but they say phone back later:mad::mad::mad:

Only they can tell you why you haven't got paid. As for ringing them i have heard that their computers were down earlier this morning. Maybe lots of people trying to ring them and lines are busy. The new free phone numbers for DWP are also causing long delays with calls.

DWP had a national failure on the IT infrastructure this morning, it may have occurred before today and the majority of systems have been down including payment systems.

It has now been rectified so check your bank to see if it has gone in, if not give check in the morning and if still not in then give them a call.

If payment was due to hit the account today it would have been released by DWP on Wednesday or Thursday last week. A computer failure today wouldn't affect that. They certainly wouldn't have been able to check or correct the situation with systems down but there must be another cause of the payment not going in.

I've had the same problem was supposed to be paid yesterday (26/03/20) and still was not despite in my journal my coach saying I would be paid yesterday. Today 27th, still no money in. Impossible to call DWP either engaged or the call cuts off after several minutes.

There's thousands of people claimed UC this week and phone lines are going to be crazy so you'll need to keep trying. In the meantime,  I would advise you to put another note on your journal saying you still haven't received your money.
