Butlins ~ Am I right to be annoyed?

Hi,
I’m new to this forum and after some advice please as I don’t know if I have a right to be annoyed or if it’s just a case of sour grapes.
Butlins were doing one of their many ‘super sale’ offers but this one looked reasonable.
I had a look at the offers and did a quote, it didn’t add up though so I enquirer on Twitter and a nice gentleman called me back.
The guy explained that their 2 bed accommodation is NEVER discounted and the offers only apply to those of 4 or more.
I was pretty gutted as it was my birthday so went ahead and treated myself and my partner anyway.
My inbox was then spammed with various new offers and I week later I had a sneaky peak. I instant felt sick to my stomach, my break had been reduced by over £55. Seems like a small amount but this was over 20% off of what I’d paid. It wasn’t last minute either, my break is in Nov.
Lots of complaints later (more about the fact I’d been lied to) and I’m offered a £30 VIP pass for free. Fab...but I’m then told I must buy another one. I go back and ask if I can have £30 voucher to use on food as I can’t afford more. The answer is no.
I’m getting so wound up as other companies would sort you out in a heartbeat I.e. Parkdean.
What do I do?
Thanks for reading,
Heather

Sorry to say I don't think there is anything you can do. A business can increase or reduce prices at any time, you presumably were happy to book at the price quoted but it is just like buying a rug at £50 to discover Carpetright reduces it to £20 the next week. It is very annoying and any business that stupidly sends offers to those that have already bought the product deserve all they get but I don't think there is any legal obligation on them to do anything0
