Car insurance renewal - Admin fees increased x4!

Hi, my car insurance is due for renewal.

I am with GoSkippy (Southern Rock Ltd)

My renewal is cheaper this year than last by almost £50

However... last year my handling fees was £15.50
This year it is now a staggering £60!

I can not justify how handling/admin fees have increased nearly 400% in a year? Just to keep me on their system already?

I just done a few quick quotes to see other car insurance, only one comes roughly the same price now.

Have they added this large fee because they know they are the cheapest?

Please advise how to challenge extortionate admin fees?

I’m thinking of leaving them because of this fee, even if a new insurer is slightly more expensive

Surely you need to look at total you need to pay including all fees to judge what the best value is?
