Selling an iphone

I am looking at selling some old iphones. I don't know how to erase all my details on them in order to sell them blank. Any ideas please

First go into settings, tap your name at the top also labelled Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes and App Store. Tap iCloud followed by find my iPhone. Turn find my iPhone off.
Go back to the Apple ID section above and tap sign out.
Next go to settings, general, reset and select erase all content and settings.0 -
also ... it it's locked to the network, then ask them to unlock it for you (before you do the above?).
It's allegedly cheaper and more reliable than 'other methods'!
