    Hi there!
    My partner and I viewed a house the week before last which was on the market for £198000 (apparently they had reduced from £204000). We decided to try our luck and offer £187000, which naturally was refused.
    We then decided that as it is a buyers market to wait a week and then up the offer.
    My OH put the offer in of £189000 and then said that we really wanted the house and we have spent all week trying to raise the extra £2000 from family and friends (nto really, but hey - if you don't try you don't get) - the EA called back to say that the vendors had accepted our offer!!
    Result :T
