Help me drain my android phone

Yes, an odd request, but my crappy android phone (Medion) has locked up and the battery's not replaceable and NO key combination I've tried resets it. I have to wait until it fully discharges and then.... it restarts. Need a fast way to discharge it? any ideas?
EDIT: oh blimey I sussed it (sorry for wasting anybody's time). Holding vol down and power shut the phone down but I had to press for more than 10secs. Crappy (but cheap) phone.
