I received a pcn last year . Looked into it (Marin Lewis) and various other sites . Basically ignored it. Received a few more letters increasing the amount . Ignored them also.
Have now received 2 letters from county court business centre adding more charges and also saying not to if not it and pay up . A few (most ) forums still say ignore it,as it would cost the company more money to go to court than what the fine it actually worth .
What do i do next, if anything

if these latest letters are from the CCBC in Northampton, then its a live court case and should NOT be ignored any longer
please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread about defending this court claim, if you IGNORE it you will lose by default and get a CCJ against you0 -
Do i get the chance to go to court and plead my case . As 8 was literally 1 min 45 seconds late .And I have a disabled blue badge0

Please tell us which forums are advocating this.A few (most ) forums still say ignore it,
You could well do with CEL. But it's not a case of rocking up, holding forth and assuming the Judge is on your side. There's a good deal of prior work for you to do before that point.Do i get the chance to go to court and plead my case
Sorry, but irrelevant on private land (read your handbook). But if you have a disability, the Equality Act 2010 might come into play. Have a read about 'Reasonable Adjustments'.And I have a disabled blue badgePlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Could I reply to the ccbc and explain about 1 min late as the ticket shows this . Do you get any grace time for going back to your vehicle. Also what is CEL0

CEL is Civil Enforcement Limited , the parking company
if these are court papers you have to acknowledge and prepare a defence
post #2 of the NEWBIES faq sticky thread explains all this
the BB isnt valid on private land but the BPA CoP covers grace times (please download it and read it) and the EA2010 law covers your needs as you qualify under that law for extra time etc using "reasonable exceptions"
read this thread too, especially near the end as it may help you understand your predicament
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5758559
at this stage you are not explaining anything, you are writing a defence which needs submitting before their deadline
this is serious, its a court case in civil court , its too late to "appeal"0 -
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

You did NOT get a PCN for being one or two minutes late. NOT POSSIBLE.
So, what was the PCN for, what contravention was stated?
Which forums are daft enough to say that then? Not here nor pepipoo, for 5 years!A few (most ) forums still say ignore it
Errrrm...two letters? Please don't tell us you ignored a February court claim and now have Judgment in Default against you? PLEASE NO.Have now received 2 letters from county court business centre adding more charges and also saying not to if not it and pay upPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No they don't.

If you do nothing it could seriously affect your ability to get a mortgage or a mobile phone contract. You need to get a grip on this. iYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
