"Failure to cancel alarm" notification.

Is there an App for mobile phones that will try to phone several people in turn, with a recorded message, if I do not respond to a daily alarm set on the phone?

I want this because I live alone, so that if I die suddenly, someone will be made aware shortly afterwards.

there is this: http://www.mandownapp.com/index.html could set it to 24 hours say - if the phone doesn't move in that time it would send alerts
  • Flugelhorn - Many thanks for your suggestion. Although it is not exectly what I am looking for, it is probably the nearest I shall get. The App does appear to have a few imperfections, and may cause a high battery drain. However, for what it costs it is definitely worth a try.

Could you not text your daughter each morning just "hello" and if she doesn't get a text she knows your dead.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time

You might get more replies if you ask for this thread to be moved to the 'Mobiles' board as your query is about an app for mobiles rather than 'Deaths, funerals and probate'.

I shall give that a try, and warn the other person that it's not for real until we have tried it for a few weeks to test for unforseen eventualities.

It might help if you set yourself a daily alarm to remind you to send the text message.

Are you on android? Have a look at macrodroid.
I'm not sure if it can do what you want but the idea is that you give it a few commands to automate a certain process.
