For the First Direct switch offer you need to pay in at least £1000 within the first 3 months. Can I pay in £500 take it out and pay it in again to get the switch bonus?

Apply for a 1st Account Before you start, you'll need to dig out these things:

your address information covering the last three years
your employment and salary details
your current banking details

Actually, there is an option to apply to switch online, and you can do it at the same time as account opening.
