Hi,
I need to be able to send encrypted emails (with attachments).
I have google apps for business with I pay for.
I also have an office365 subscription.
My question is do these systems provide a high level of secure email encryption?
or do I need to pay for a system such as egress.
Any advice would be most welcome.
The emails are sensitive data

Gmail does appear to offer encryption options. See their help pages for more info. Similarly Office 365 offers options as well. See the relevant support pages.0

Depends on what Office 365 subscription you have, Office 365 Business Premium will certainly support encryption in Outlook0

to be honest the support pages seem very complex to wade through.
I have the home office 365. I cant see any encryption in it.
Not sure about gmail.0 -
How about ProtonMail? It's a web-based email that's free, and comes with encryption by default. The interface is good, and it's hosted in Switzerland, so that provides some additional protection from the snoopers.0

Are my Gmail messages encrypted?
While Gmail has offered HTTPS encryption since it launched, it's been the default since 2010. Now, however, it's the only option, and it's more robust than ever. Not only are your messages encrypted between Gmail and your computer, but they're also encrypted as they travel around Google's data centers.20 Mar 2014
Google are very keen on encryption. They need to ensure it only them that are harvesting your personal data.0 -
Can't you just use PGP? It's a standard means of encrypting communications, so it's well supported on various platforms, and there are plenty of plug-ins, etc. available.
It's not proprietary and encryption/decryption is done locally, so your messages are secure.
