Hey Guys,
New to the site,
I received a Parking Charge Notice today/NTD today 24/3
The issue date on the notice is 21/3/18and the contravention date is 20/02/18.
The contravention reason is parking in a restricted/prohibited area.
My car is a lease so I have been named as the owner but not the driver, no driver has been disclosed to the company and this is the first contact I’ve had from them. I’ve attached a photo blurring out any details, hope I’ve done it right.
Not sure what to do in the situation, any advice greatly appreciated
Many thanks

You can't be 'named as the owner'. As a lessee you are simply 'the day-to-day keeper', the lease company is the 'registered keeper', they may be 'the owner', but not necessarily. My car is a lease so I have been named as the owner but not the driver, no driver has been disclosed to the company and this is the first contact I’ve had from them.
Who has provided VCS with your details?
Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 which will guide you through the early stages of dealing with this. VCS are IPC operators, so read the sticky with that in mind. Not sure what to do in the situation, any advice greatly appreciated
Please switch off your 'Smart Punctuation' on your iPhone/iPad to avoid clogging up your posts with !!!!8217s and the like. Your posts will be difficult to read as every apostrophe used converts to exclamation marks and numbers.Sorry just realised the photo doesn!!!8217;t show up very clearly now it!!!8217;s uploaded.

Go to 'General' > 'Keyboard' > 'Smart Punctuation' and flick the switch off.
Switching off seems to have no negative affect on any other use of the keyboard. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks Umkomaas, I was wondering why it was adding the punctuation into the message, I tried editing it and it did it again so thanks for explaining how to stop it.
As for providing VCS with the details, that would be the lease company.
I'm just heading to work now but I will read the newbies FAQ properly this evening, I did have a quick scan through it but it was just a quick one before I posted the message as was short on time and just wanted to get the photo etc on.
Thanks again for your advice0
