Best Credit Card for £2000

I need about £2000 to pay off a few things and would be looking to pay it back over a year-I don't think I can get a loan. Which credit card would be best for this , with a low percent rate and maybe also a 0% on all purchases for a few months.

If I couldn't get a £2000 limit would it be best to have a few credit cards with say £500 limit and spread payments that way .

The Halifax 12 month credit card offers interest free balance transfers and purchases for a year. A 3% handling charge applies to BTs.

This is my first post on here and I think this is a great site !!

Anyway Ive just applied for a mint card 2.5% balance transfer fee and 0% until December 2008 and 0% on purchases until May 2008.

You get £22 cashback which helps with balance transfer fee (ive been accepted so wish I knew about this earlier) :mad:
