 Oh please!
This is supposed to be a money saving site and I have absolutely no connection with Simply Switch, I originally gave uSwitch as an example in my post but found that more cashback was available via Simply Switch for the OP.
Please post a screen dump showing where "unique service" is shown on the homepage of https://www.simplyswitch.com/
I use the site giving me the best available tariff and the highest cashback at the time when I switch.
You are still missing the point though, you would make a good politician!0

Indeed you are right about a cheaper deal, but as you say later, it is only available through a comparison site. I have a feeling that using the comparison site to swap over a supplier's existing customer's account could bring problems. Between the two offers there's ~£75 annual difference.0

Just to confirm that using a comparison site to switch to a different tariff with your current supplier causes no problems. Did this recently to get an exclusive switching site tariff and the new tariff showed on my on-line account after a day and the cashback tracked immediately.
Go for it and get the bonus of cashback.0

I switched with Simply Switch about ten years ago as they promised cashback. It never arrived however.0

Having read so often of cashback failures, I leave them out of my considerations, and treat them as an unexpected fortune should they reach me.0

I tried, but as the move is to the same supplier cashback is not available, which seems logical to me. However, I did decide with my forward calculations, that a change to the special comparison site offer was a yes.0
