"Seller can't accept payments" error message.

I'm trying to use the 20% off offer that EBay have on ( I missed the last one).
I've put the items I want into my basket and tried to go through to checkout. Both items are from the same seller. I keep getting an error message "the sellers cannot accept payments at this time".
I've tried putting the same items (from another seller, but more expensive) in my basket and it allows me to checkout and use the 20% off code.
I've contacted the first seller but have had no reply. Would they be able to suspend sales so they didn't have to accept the 20% off offer? Or do they get the whole price with EBay making up the discount?

Does the seller have their holiday settings on ? It will tell you this at the top of the item page.You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

No, there is nothing to say that the seller is away. I've tried again and the same error message comes up when I try to checkout. Just one of those things.

The discount is given by eBay so the seller gets the full amount. Are there any T&C that restrict the purchase to certain categories? Is the seller a country the voucher is valid for?0
