Afternoon, glorious weather here and have been sat out enjoying it. 2nd load of washing is on the line and another in the washing machine to be hung out shortly.
Nipped into town this morning as DS needed a haircut, i went to boots and spent £1.50 and received 200 free points. Also did a small top up shop in M&S came to £12.70 used £12 voucher and 70p cash
, So a nice frugal shop.
We completed on the house and have the keys, it has gone up for rent, couple of minor jobs to do touching up paint, fixing a cupboard door and putting up a couple of curtain poles.
Next weeks meal plan is done and its a bit scratty, lots of eat ups out of the freezer but needs must to get us through to the end of the month and as long as we are fed nobody will mind, HM pie and mash for tea tonight probably a bit warm for it but it will be fine, we are having a quiet Easter weekend as DS and DH is working today and DD is working tomorrow, but we saw a lot of family yesterday with it being my birthday so easter eggs and catch ups have been done so don't feel bad about lazing at home in the garden.
May budget has been done and it is very , Need to pay final balance off DS Africa trip, Pay balance on DD prom dress + alteration costs, balance on our family holiday in August to Spain, DD tutor, DH car needs a service, mine needs MOT and car tax is also due on my car. Also have a few family birthdays which I hope to be able to cover from surveys. So May is all about damage limitation, spending as little as possible and trying to make as much as possible.
Off to eat birthday cake and catch up on surveys.xx0 -
:easter_ba:HAPPY EASTER
Morning I've been wide awake since 6am so decided to get up and catch up with some surveys, sold an item overnight on ebay so £10 made there, need to also get some items listed today.
Have checked what toiletries we have and think there is enough shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, handwash to last the month, we are also ok for cleaning stuff. next I need to do a check of the kitchen cupboards/freezers and work meals around stuff we already have in. Meal plan for next week is done, but want a list of stuff ready for May.
I'm going to try and meal plan for a few days at a time and just do small top up type shops in May to try and keep spends to a minimum.
Today's meals
B - scrambled eggs, mushrooms on toast.
L - cheese toastie or cheese salad.
T - Rst chicken, rst potatoes and veg.
Snacks - fruit, hot cross buns, easter eggs:D.0 -

Flurry of ebay sales last night so have sent £100 to CC, small top up shop done this morning which included some beers for DH and sun cream for DD so came to £35, have claimed £6.50 from greenjinn.
Chicken fried rice for tea tonight using left overs, need to get something out for tomorrows lunch.

Morning,
Back to work yesterday and it was lovely to see all the children, work was busy and I came home shattered.
Yesterday was a NSD, I did take some ebay parcels to PO but don't count them as a spend as they are already paid for. Won't be NSD today as we need milk.
Caught up with some surveys and redeemed a £25 gift card for M&S,also received a £10 pre paid card so that went straight onto dS lunch account, his school lunches this week will all be covered by prepaid cards I've earnt doing surveys.
Have a great day.0
