Pipework question

I'm having a bedroom studded and insulated, so need to take the rad (which will be replaced) off the wall. Due to the wall moving out a few inches I need to remove the pipework to allow room (current up pipes are flush to current skirting, so in the way).
I plan to cut them under the floor them cap them off until such time I'm ready to pipe to new rad.
What's the best way to cap the pipes, would a push fit stop end be sufficient, or is it common practice to put an isolation valve, with a length of pipe and a push fit end?
Many thanks.
P. S, combi boiler, pressurised system and 15mm pipes.

For a short period I would just use a push-fit stop end.0

Clean cut and a push fit will work just fine. I have left push fit's on for a god few weeks before, they are good fitting now.
If you use a hack saw make sure to file off the sharp edges.0 -
Many thanks both.0
