Kitchen Units - Refurbish or new?

Options
My wife has declared that our kitchen is looking 'tired' and is thinking about replacing the units.
It's about 14 years old now. There very minor scratches and on a couple of corners the laminate has started to peel.
However, this is mainly the doors and facias. The units themselves are pretty sound apart from a couple of knocks.

I'm not sure if it's better to rip out and replace or to just re-fit new doors and facias.

I had the same problem when my units were 18 years old but decided to replace kitchen. If you just do the doors how long do you think the units will last?
My units were welded and dowelled but most of them just fell apart when I removed them. I did my own kitchen in what was basically a like for like replacement so no extra electrics or plumbing moves were required.
If you go for the doors option you could go to B&Q etc to see if the same size doors are available but the holes for the hinges may be in a different place.
I got my kitchen online at a fair price 7 years a go from DIY-Kitchens and its still as good as new but I have wood doors that are painted so when the time comes I can just repaint them. their current doors are pre drilled.
DIY Kitchen can just sell you doors and also sell/rent you a jig to cut the hinge holes. I used this with no problems. Their current kitchens come with the doors drilled.
The units they supply are preassembled and colour coded so you don't need end panels, and plinths, pelmets and cornices are a reasonable price unlike some from other places.
Unless you live near their showroom you can get samples sent.
They were were helpful on the phone and no price gimmicks although I see they do have 10% off for easter I guess.
