Associates Capital PPI

Has anybody had any success makimg a PPI claim against The Associates (capital corporation) I had a loan approx 24/25 years ago, two loans in fact. From their office in Leeds. I reme!ber the premiums being very onerous and certainly being told that I had to have it.

I'm aware that they were bought by Citibank, but I have no paper work. When I got out of debt, I burned everything! Oh how i wish I'd had a chrystal ball back then. Obvioisly its a long time back and I did pursue this with a claims company, as I anticipated it being a tricky case, and they achieved no success. I wondered though if anybody had managed to claim in these or similar circumstances, basically with no paperwork, and through Associates so long ago.

Many thanks for any help given

It wouldn't have mattered if you had kept the paperwork. They won't have been regulated.
And as you've already tried complaining through a PPI company, you don't get two goes at it anyway.
