Hi All,
I'm currently dealing with a credit card ppi complaint on behalf of my parents with Lloyds. The initial 8 week period was up on Friday so I rang them as we had heard nothing since the initial acknowledgement. They confirmed that the investigation was ongoing but due to the complexity of the case they needed more time and this could be an additional 8 weeks but they hoped to have a final decision sooner. They followed this up with a letter to the same effect. Has anyone else had a similar recent experience with Lloyds?

Plenty. At its height, PPI complaints were taking around 2 years to deal with. Now its between a week and 6 months typically.
