Not sure if best place to post...

Ive had a search on other forums, I currently have webhosting with fasthost, I have to say the email system is terrible, ive had lots of problems with receiving spam and also had problems with clients not receiving emails which can be costly to my small business.

Can anyone recommend another company? Ive also heard something about email hosting can i just get this as a separate entity, will this work with a small business?

I can recommend Krystal.co.uk for web hosting. From experience they have fast servers, responsive customer service and staff are knowledgeable. Link here: https://krystal.co.uk/cloud-hosting

I used to use Vidahost.com who where good for a while, but since their parent company was bought out by GoDaddy, they've started to go downhill... :(

Email hosting - this is a thing, but you can easily setup emails within a webhost package as above. But if you want a standalone setup for emails, look into things like Microsoft's Exchange Online or there is Gmail Business.

    Hope that helps

Personally I use https://www.webhost.uk.net/ I can surely recommend them if you are looking for reliable service with good support. Previously had used hostgator same support and service related issue.
Presently I am with WebhostUK for more than 6 years great service never had to look anywhere else since then.
For stable email hosting I prefer Gsuite by google , they take care of spam emails and make sure my emails land in inbox.

Thanks for the input most of the service is ok , its just the email which is playing up, I think with the hassel of changing web hosting , I may just go for office 365 which I assume does host your email within the price?
