            You're picking apart someone who obviously suffers with anxiety, and this situation is triggering them. I don't think the accusations are necessary.
 OP, if it were me I wouldn't have given the PayPal balance a second thought. It is not savings, it is income from a permitted source. Either spend it or transfer it to your bank account.
 However it is obviously bothering you so ring up DWP, advise them that you forgot to mention your PayPal balance and inform them how much is in there and where it came from.
 I guarantee you that will be the end of it.0

            It sounds like it's going to be eating away at you and making your anxiety worse (I know how easy it is for thoughts to do that). I'd just tell them. You're allowed to sell old possessions, it didn't take your savings above the lower limit. You'll be fine, and your mental health will improve.
 Just think of how much lighter you'll feel when you've got it over and done with.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
