Hi I am looking to remove some limescale from kettle. I was told to use minute of Bi carbonate soda and vinegar. Question is, what vinegar is it? I had a look in tesco and could find malt vinegar but that is quite smelly... Is there any alternative?

Distilled vinegar I buy large bottles on Amazon for that and other jobs

Tesco sell colourless distilled vinegar, it still smells a bit, but does the job

Asda and Sainsbury's also sell a virtually identical product at around the same price."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
All vinegar smells - it's the acetic acid that makes it vinegar and not water.
But the clear distilled stuff is less messy. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Balsamic if you're posh!0
