Hi
I am looking to buy a city centre property, it's near to a nightclub which has been closed for around 2 years, the vendor says he thinks the nightclub is going to be turned into flats. Does anyone know how I can check what is happening to the building, without having to pay for conveyancing?
I've spoken to the local planning department, who told me that they haven't received any applications for a change of venue.
Thanks
Andy

If you've already asked the planning department there isn't much you can do......did you ask the vendor where he got his information from?0

It sounds like they are telling porkies. Dont touch it with a barge pole unless they can provide legal wriiten proof of planning permission. Even then it does not mean it will get passed.0
