Hi ya
found this thread via our referrers and alot of our members have mentioned this site too so I thought I would take a look.
http://www.organisedchristmaselves.co.uk is now live and has been for a week now.
Its not as active as it could be, however as pointed out the OC forums are still live, and there are many of us participating in swaps as well as other sites set up by members of the forums.
Look forward to seeing some of you over there. Now I am off to take a look round here!0 -

I am so sorry to hear this, Pavlov - Organized Home has been invaluable for me over time and I am indeed much better organized since I discovered the site, and the house is now finally clean and being kept so. I will download and save what I can! Thank you for alerting us."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0

Thanks for letting us know
I'm another 'drop in once in a blue moon but then spend all day there' visitor to the site and will be so sad to see it go. Will pop over to the UK site mentioned above later to have a peep and will be sure to bookmark it.
Is there only going to be a Christmas one, or are the UK site also going to do their own version of Organiaed Home as well?0 -

I don't know if any of the UK members on OH are interested or have set something up themselves. Because I am primarily addicted to Christmas and haven't really participated on the boards there.
Nor have I been approached to set something up for them. So I guess at the moment that is a no
Also as far as I am aware the forums will be completely removed after the cut off date. So no archives. But all other main site information will be available. This applies to all sites that CEO runs.0 -
i guess one option would be for us to ask the OS Mods and Martin for their views on having either a regular challenge running, or even perhaps a dedicated sub forum, seeing as it sits so well with the old style 'brand'. the flylady threads and OS daily thread are evidence enough that there is a market for this kind of thing.
i for one would be very happy to pitch in and help out with it as my interests lay in that sort of thing (the typical virgo's unending quest for perfection )

Thanks for this info pavlovs. I was a regular lurker on organized home and couldn't work out why I could no longer find the message boards till I decided to look at organised christmas yesterday and discovered the reason. Unfortunately I'd missed this thread. If anyone does set up their own version of organised homes or knows of a good alternative would they let me know. Thanks0
